MAA BAGLAMUKHI MANDIR

A renowned and revered temple situated in Nalkheda town of District Agar Malwa in Madhya Pradesh on about a distance of 165 KM from Indore. Situated near the banks of river Lakhundar(Formerly was known as River Lakshman), it is one of the three biggest and oldest Siddhapiths of Maa Baglamukhi in India three-faced Trishakti Bagalamukhi Devi. The self-proclaimed and awakened idol in the temple s said to have miraculous powers. Apart from this, The temple also houses and worships the idols of goddess Laxmi, Saraswati, Shri Krishna, Hanuman, and Bhairav.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SIDDHAPITH

According to the Scholar of the temple, this Siddhapith was founded by Maharaj Yudhishthira on the advice of Shri Krishna to make their side invincible in the battle of Mahabharata in Dwapar Yuga. There are various old and destructed mausoleums around the Temple was renovated in the year 1815. The Temple also has a huge Singh Mukhi entrance that was built Fourteen Years ago.Many Devotees gathere Together in the temple at the time of Navratri to take the blessings of Maa Baglamukhi.

THE GLORY OF MAA BGALAMUKHI

Maa Baglamukhi, the eighth of all ten Mahavidhyas, This form of the mother is known as Tantra and Stambha Shakti. Devi shows the Ardhanarishwar Swaroop of Mahadev as the goddess has trinetra and a head decorated with Ardhachandra. Other than that, the Goddess is always associated with yellow color and is always decked in yellow-colored clothes and garlands made of yellow flowers. Hence,she is also referred to as devi Piambara. Maa Bagalamukhi is the goddess of Tantra, Sovarious tantric rituals take place in the temple. Moreover, the Temple in Nalkheda is built on a crematorium which makes it ideal for such practices. Various locals,and saints of Shaiva and Shakti sects from all over the country comes here to perform various Tantric rituals.
